Fine Bay Rum Shaving Soap provides exactly that, along with with the undisputed GOAT in men's fragrances. Mr. Fine's authentic Bay Rum features true Dominican Bay (Pimenta Racemosa) Leaf Oil, and allows its naturally sophisticated, spicy-clean scent properties to take center stage.

To use, first (1) load your thoroughly dampened shaving brush with soap by vigorously working it over the product surface for 10 to 15 seconds. Then (2) build a lather with continued vigorous brushwork in a bowl, or directly on your face - until no large bubbles remain. (3) Proceed with shaving, and enjoy!

Soaps and Aftershaves

I have four Fine soaps with matching aftershaves. American Blend, Platinum, Bay Rum and Barber Blue, I can bowl lather or face lather depending on my mood. I love the sickness and scent of the soaps. They make my shaves a great experience, The aftershave last all day. They take me back to my youth,

Great Shaving Soap

I was looking to upgrade my shaving experience with a better soap. I was also looking for a soap with a good bay rum scent. This soap provides a great lasting lather that makes my face feel great and protects my skin. It also smells great. Exactly what I was looking for.

Wonderful!

I’ve had a few shaves now with the Bay Rum shaving soap and the companion After-Shave Splash. I’m loving it! The soap lathers well, provides great lubrication (I prep with Razor Emporium’s pre-shave soap), provides a really smooth shave, and leaves the skin feeling great afterwards. I’m using a 1957 Gillette Superspeed Flare Tip razor and a Feather blade. Did I mention it smells terrific? The splash is very nice: feels and smells great. The fragrance never is overpowering, but persists for hours. Nivea balm works well on top. It provides a subtle complement to the bay rum fragrance.

Nice Lather

I face lather and this stuff comes up nice and creamy super fast. I’ve also been using the Fine Stout shaving brush. Great combo. The smell is excellent also. It’s on the cloveish side. The matching after shave is much less so. Very nice.
